I've tried uninstalling all mice, and re-installing in device manager (rolling back isn't an option). I've tried putting scaling down to 100% on all monitors - no effect. I've unplugged all USB drives from the computer - no effect. I've tried everything on this list - none work: I've tried different surfaces (though this desk has worked fine for months). This happens on my Microsoft sculpt ergonomic mouse, and both Logitech MX Master 2 and MX Anywhere 2S - both on Bluetooth and via their different dongles. If I move it round in small circles it will happen between 1 and 20 cycles round.

The only issue is the random freezes, which last a few minutes, and occurs every 30 seconds or so. CAS also runs incredibly smooth and quick, and will not crash or freeze. The game runs very smoothly, with practically no lag, and loading screens never take longer than a minute. I have a number of mods to help with the issue, but nothing seems to work. I've been running into the classic game freezing issue, but to the extent that the game is practically unplayable. I haven't played the Sims 3 in quite a few years, but recently reinstalled it, along with some expansion packs.
